Hesperian’s book on epilepsy & seizures
Hesperian’s resource-in-progress on epilepsy and seizures demystifies complex issues around seizure identification, use of antiseizure medicines, special diets, and pregnancy. By highlighting stories of how individuals and groups encourage full community participation for people with epilepsy, the book tackles the harms of stigma and discrimination and focuses on how to live well with the condition, especially where access to resources, information, and care is limited.
