Sister Aid Liberia (SAL) first began working with Hesperian by field-testing Health Actions for Women in 2013. They provided critical feedback on the book, making it more helpful for women and organizers. 

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Miatta and her team worked with Hesperian to organize webinars to provide information about preventing and treating the disease. At the outset of the pandemic, they organized on the ground to share fliers and stickers about COVID-19 at universities and schools in their communities.
