Likhaan

Since 1995, Likhaan has been delivering low-cost health care to poor women and girls in the Philippines. In addition to this, they run community health education programs and work with local and national players to advocate for policy changes. 

Drawing from their vast experiences of providing care and creating effective health education programs, Likhaan provided critical input during the development of Health Actions for Women, A Book for Midwives and The NEW Where There Is No Doctor project. Their team has field-tested several Hesperian publications and translated the Filipino edition of Where Women Have No Doctor.

Currently, we are working together to field-test the 2023 edition of Where Women Have No Doctor.
