Estamos Mozambique

Estamos is a community-based organization in Mozambique bringing latrines to rural villages and reducing the impact of HIV through health education. Estamos was founded by musician and activist Feliciano dos Santos, winner of the 2008 Goldman Environmental Prize for using traditional music to teach villagers about sanitation. Hesperian worked with Feliciano and his team at Estamos to develop A Community Guide to Environmental Health and Helping Children Live with HIV.
